Why a specialist agency - not a generalist.

VERIS does one thing. It does it at a depth no generalist agency can match, because generalist agencies do not specialize in this. The work is narrow by design. The results are verifiable by default.

The Case for Specialization

A general agency cannot do this work at depth.

When a general agency adds "AI search" as a service, it usually looks like bolt-on keyword adjustments or meta description updates. That work is structurally different from technical infrastructure. Most generalists do not know what LodgingBusiness schema is, what PerplexityBot requires, or how to distinguish OpenAI's published search, training, and user-triggered crawler agents.

Schema work is not a plugin setting. A restaurant needs servesCuisine, hasMenu, acceptsReservations, and openingHoursSpecification correctly nested. A hotel needs checkinTime, checkout, numberOfRooms, amenityFeature. A law firm needs areaServed, knowsAbout, hasCredential. These are category-specific implementations that generalists skip or get wrong.

VERIS works across six technical planes on every audit, for every client, in every engagement. This is not an add-on service. It is the entire service. That is the only way to do it correctly.

The Verification Mechanism

Every audit is independently verifiable. By a neutral AI.

Every VERIS audit includes a plain-text verification document structured for Claude to review. The client pastes the document into claude.ai (free). Claude, independently and with no connection to VERIS, confirms or disputes every finding.

Claude checks whether technical assertions are correct by established web standards, whether severity is appropriate, and whether the revenue impact methodology is sound. Disputed findings are expected and welcome.

Most agencies ask clients to trust reports on faith. VERIS builds audits that can be challenged. A disputed finding that gets corrected builds more trust than a finding that was never questioned.

If Claude disputes a finding in the audit, the implementation scope and price adjust accordingly.

Before and after screenshots

Every fix is screenshot-validated before delivery. Google Rich Results Test, robots.txt, and llms.txt confirmations are included in the handover package.

Google's own tools

The audit references Google-owned testing tools such as Rich Results Test, PageSpeed Insights, and Lighthouse. These are free, public, and accessible without an account.

Methodology in plain sight

Commercial impact notes show the logic behind the recommendation, and every technical finding includes direct verification steps and source-backed reasoning.

Scope

VERIS is not a general agency. Here is what that means.

The specialist model only works if the scope is kept narrow. Adding services that fall outside AI search infrastructure would dilute the expertise, slow delivery, and weaken positioning. The following are genuine referrals - not polite rejections.

Not what VERIS does
 • xWebsite redesign or visual work
 • xContent writing or copywriting
 • xSocial media management
 • xPaid advertising or PPC management
 • xTraditional SEO (backlinks, keyword strategy)
 • xPhotography or brand identity
 • xBooking system integration
 • xBranding or logo design
What VERIS does
 • ✓Schema markup per business category
 • ✓AI crawler permissions (robots.txt)
 • ✓llms.txt and llms-full.txt
